NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)

The first two circular boxes are each finely
potted with straight sides tapering down
to a protruding circular flat base, fitted
with a slightly domed cover; the third
79 box potted with a countersunk base and a
slightly domed cover. All are covered with
a transparent pale ivory-toned glaze, the
unglazed rims and bases exposing the fine
white body.
