A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE ‘PHEASANT AND 清康熙 青花鴙雞牡丹圖大罐

KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The ovoid body is painted in delicate shades of blue depicting
a large pheasant perched on a jagged rock amidst clusters of
peony blossoms and bamboo stems, all between double-line
borders, below a band of pendent lappets on the neck. The base is
unglazed.
