vases holding peony branches and various auspicious objects, interspersed amongst lotus blooms borne on intertwining
surrounded by pomegranates and lingzhi stems, all reserved foliate strapwork, below a ruyi band at the gilt rim and above
on a bright lemon-yellow sgraffiato ground decorated with overlapping lappets at the foot, all against a rich turquoise
feathery scrollwork, the interior with a cobalt-blue medallion ground, the base enamelled turquoise save for a rectangular
enclosing three further rams, encircled by four fruiting and cartouche enclosing a gilt-inscribed six-character seal mark
flowering branches suspending auspicious emblems, the base 11.8 cm, 4⅝ in.
inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark
