QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY worked in the form of a double gourd with shallow rounded
well worked from a translucent white pebble, the muscular sides, depicted borne on a leafy gnarled branch bearing
contours of the body skilfully rendered with a subtle curved attendant smaller gourds on the reverse
ridge to depict the spine 13.2 cm, 5⅛ in.
