with a russet iron coloured ground decorated with two tsuba decorated in gold and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, sabiji and
in sabiji and takamaki-e and inlaid in silver and gold, the first a inlaid in mother-of-pearl on a black ground with a plum branch,
sukashi tsuba pierced with a tori, the front with a mokkogata the reverse with pine and bamboo between bands of geometric
plate depicting Jurojin on a stag and attached hako netsuke design, black lacquer interiors, fundame rims
depicting Kanzan and Jittoku 8 cm, 3 in. high
