A LARGE IMARI DISH
EDO PERIOD, LATE 17TH CENTURY
伊万里 色絵大皿、江戸時代、17世紀後期
the shallow dish with wide everted rim, decorated in iron-red,
green, yellow, aubergine, brown, blue and black enamels and
gilt with numerous figures, behind and in front of a curtain,
enjoying the cherry blossom
56.5 cm, 22¼ in. diam.
