18TH-19TH CENTURY

The horse’s legs are tucked beneath its
body and its head is turned over its back
towards a monkey. The mane, tail and
facial features are fnely incised and the
stone is of an even celadon tone with
some mottled white inclusions.

                                                The mythical beast is carved with a
                                                lingzhi stem in its claws, its young curled
                                                up beside it. The stone is of an even pale
                                                tone with some mottled white inclusions.
