18th century
The interior vibrantly enamelled with a central
leaf-form cartouche enclosing two boys
and a court lady in a garden eating fruit,
surrounded with various bands of diaper
including ‘fish roe’ and borders of floral
meanders, the reverse enamelled a bright
crimson hue.

Yongzheng/Qianlong circa 1730-40
The interior finely enamelled with a pastoral
scene with two cowherds tending their oxen
by a riverside, the flat rim with butterflies
and peonies, with gilt-decorated foliate
cartouches enclosing landscapes.

ladies in a terraced garden by a lotus pond
attending to two young boys who have
caught a small fish on a rod, the flat rim with
quatre-lobed cartouches enclosing various
floral blooms, reserved on a diaper ground.
