Daoguang seal mark and of the period
Brightly enamelled to the exterior with two
celestial maidens in a log raft with a Buddhist
lion sailing over waves towards a villa raised
in auspicious clouds heralded with a Daoist
Immortal on a crane. 8.5cm (3 1/4in) diam.

part of Villa Vitiano and its furnishings, which
previously belonged to Mr Moriani.

TRUMPET-NECK VASE
19th century
The cylindrical body delicately enamelled
with ladies in a procession, variously riding
a chariot pulled by a deer, Buddhist lions
and elephants, the neck and foot with vivid
polychrome, geometric brocaded designs.
