spandrels and joined with low stretchers,
all covered in a red lacquer and carved and

A HONGMU LOW SQUARE TABLE, KANG
19th century
The floating panel top set within a mitered,
mortise-and-tenoned frame bevelled around
the sides above a waisted neck and beaded
apron, all supported on the curving legs with
a projecting foliate square section and a
beast-head terminal.
