A RARE YELLOW OVERLAY AMBER GLASS
SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1880
The globular bottle is deeply carved through the opaque overlay
to the transparent amber-colored ground with two entwined
chilong climbing over their own tails.

A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1810-1870
The well-painted bottle is decorated around the sides with a scene
of a lady weaving silk seen through an open window, and with a
farmer working a rice feld with a bufalo. Five small bats (wufu)
are painted inside the neck.
