NOTE:

This painting is dedicated to Zhang Guiyi, a former director of the China Travel Service in
Guangzhou and a prominent collector. He hosted artists when they travelled to Guangdong
Province, and as a result, he was close to many artists including Huang Yongyu. The
inscription and dedication of this painting reveal the close friendship between the artist and
the collector.
