NOTE:
Huang Mao (1916-1997) was a close friend of the artist. He graduated from the Guangzhou
Academy of Fine Arts, and later emigrated to Hong Kong, working as an art critic and
publisher. He was a consultant for Tsi Ku Chai and contributed to several important
exhibitions.
