It isn’t as if the trip hasn’t begun, it’s just on pause before
the water portion begins....,

There is a whole subculture to observing flora and fauna
in Greyhound Bus Station that given the amount of time
spent, reveals a lot about the human condition as a
species.

If you have been there between 12 and 24 hours more
than once then you know what I mean.

When it’s working correctly using a Bus Station at
Greyhound is no big deal and certainly those who take
short hops often find that so………,

but an undercurrent does exist even as at the beach the
water and waves may look wonderful intil you find
yourself caught in a riptide.

On my way TO Baton Rouge generally speaking I found
everyone helpful caring and trying to deal with a system
that could use an infusion of money and organization as
well as oversight so in the majority I think Greyhound
tries hard and does pretty good.
BUT NO ONE WILL GIVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING
or Curtis Powell associated award for customer
satisfaction as long as some bad actors exist in the
system.
As they say ONE BAD APPLE can spoil the bushel and
it doesn’t take much to realize that as a passenger you
really don’t have much of a say at all if you want to get
where you are going with greyhound.

Since I had many stops I will say I was shocked when a
Ticket Agent working for Greyhound tried to Hustle me
for cash to book a ticket “OFFLINE” terminal to save me
30 to 40 dollars and was ready to do it if I would tell the
person what I would give them. Apparently 10 and 20
dollars was not enough and the person was carful to “talk” alone one to one.

I never paid it and the person was young so I suspect a temp hire, but Greyhound has a 1-800 number you can call and
deal with Corporate and take care of tickets if you ever get into a jam like I did.

Major Corporations can’t control every employee so I can’t fault Greyhound but like the expression goes what comes
around goes around and I am certain this person will pay down the line for hustling people.
Street hustlers I get. Poor and indigent or scammers I get. But if you are in a position of authority over someone else DO
NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM because one of them (similar to me) might just follow up and ruin your day by
telling someone or even wearing a recording device.
