It’s like a shakedown cruise that sometimes you just anticipate that everything’s going to work out fine even though you
have a question in your mind because although you may have new equipment and you practiced it at work and you
practiced it at home until you actually get out there you really don’t know how well or how bad somethings will work or
not work.
So I get excited but I also get a little nervous in new gear when I’m testing it out for the first time
Today after so many setbacks and so many delays I’ve had the sun finally came out. Sunshine gas the effect on me to
inspire and get me moving. And I’ve begun to put the kayak together.
I managed to get the flag up on the light pole. A log gear going in the cargo box. But one of the things that I didn’t get a
chance to do was to really work on the electronics.
And so I was a little until I hooked up the two solar batteries that we have that are pretty high grade I mean for what I
paid for them and took them up to the hill solar panel that we have that can actually charge a car battery.
I was concerned it might not work as well as at home. I am so thrilled to say that sometimes equipment works better
than I do.
