• The patient was not seen for 5 months,

both maxillary and mandibular arch wires

were changed to .017×.025 nickel‐titanium

to perfect the tip and torque of the

dentition.

• The mandibular arch wire had a reverse

curve of Spee to aid in bite opening.

• Triangle elastics were continued as

instructed to settle the buccal occlusion
