TECHNICAL SERVICES
Valor provides Technical Services and critical pre-opening planning, working closely with ownership and the GC team, who through their
individual experience and background, have a deep understanding of the myriad of hotel project management elements. Valor takes the
lead specifically on everything that relates to the hotel detailed aspects of design and function leading to operations, and where asked by
ownership, Valor can assist and has the skillset within retail and residential should that be required for any other projects in the future.
Including, but not limited to:
• Work closely with the ownership to ensure all aspects of their vision, along with the vision and experience of Valor is adhered to as well
as any and all design directives and standards dictated;
• Work closely with GC, Construction Manager & project team and all subcontractors in completion of pre-determined development scope;
• Work with preferred vendors in development of all information technology systems. System will be Valor specified & built and developed
specifically for the project;
• Engage Procurement Company and coordinate all FFE, OSE and IT pre-opening purchases and related efforts;
• Work with Interior Designer directly in ensuring all scope items are detailed and accurate and executed on time and on budget;
• Manage ALL technical aspects of the project to ensure a world-class product delivery (technical aspects refer specifically to elements
such as IT, MEP as it relates to guest / hotel requirements, specific mandates, programming, staging, timing & coordination of installs
etc.).
• Work with all subs throughout each planning stage of the project to ensure compliance with all the previous standards written and
agreed upon in the business plan;
• Work with local town, county and state officials and services such as the fire department to ensure compliance with local ordinances;
and
• Provision of detailed costs vs. budget and bank draws with detail on all pre-opening and brand required costs, etc.
