However, OAI-PMH isn’t the only way in which data can be repurposed
for use in other systems. So long as a system has a documented method for
extracting data, a process can be developed around it. This has been the case
with the Ohio State University Libraries’ partnership with both the Internet
Archive and the HathiTrust.
Like all libraries in the Big Ten, OSUL participated in the Google Book
Project, providing approximately one million titles for digitization, with
