Developing skills for theatre and for life

“Performing arts education is a conduit to
learning important life skills that carry you
through adulthood… like the ability to
collaborate, the value of hard work, and the
capacity to learn from mistakes and take
                                                           criticism.

Moreover, it builds what I think young people
need most: a sense of belonging that nurtures
confidence. To hear a student say, ‘I don’t feel
weird here’, is the greatest reward
                                                           imaginable.”
