collaborate, the value of hard work, and the
capacity to learn from mistakes and take
criticism.
Moreover, it builds what I think young people
need most: a sense of belonging that nurtures
confidence. To hear a student say, ‘I don’t feel
weird here’, is the greatest reward
imaginable.”
