Drayton Entertainment is an award-winning, not-for-profit registered charitable arts organization governed by a
volunteer Board of Directors. Established in 1991, the organization has grown from a single venue entertaining
14,000 patrons in the village of Drayton, Ontario, to one of the largest arts organizations in Canada, with a network
of 7 venues across Southwestern Ontario entertaining 275,000 theatregoers before the pandemic.
In each community, the theatre has served as a beacon, preserving cultural heritage, promoting social inclusion and
cultivating economic prosperity. Combined, these initiatives realize the central role that live theatre and its related
activities play in the structure of society by improving the quality of life of the broader community.
At 30, Drayton Entertainment is undertaking one of its biggest transformations yet, preparing for a post COVID-19
society and responding to new demands of the community. We are driving change by investing in the success of
youth, and pioneering new and more meaningful ways to create positive connections in the community.
The determination to seek new and creative ways of addressing all three parts of our mission, while holding a deep
respect for individuals inside and outside the company, and for the communities of which they are a part, drives the
company forward. Striving to surpass patron expectations is what makes Drayton Entertainment extraordinary.
