On October 30, from 10:00 to 18:00, the Skolkovo Technopark will host
the ONLINE METALWORKING FORUM: Technology Day 2020.
The forum is organized by the National Union of Suppliers of Equipment and Tools for
Metalworking (NSPOIM) with the support of the Skolkovo Foundation, and will bring together
a lot of companies on the site - leaders of the Russian market of metalworking equipment,
tools and software (such as FFG, DMG MORI, Iscar, Fanuc, ZIFRA, YG-1, STAN Group, Solver,
Pumori, Intekhnika, Winnum, PROMOIL, Sverdlovsk Tool Plant, etc. .), as well as their largest
consumers (KAMAZ, Technodinamika, UEC). During the business program of the conference,
experts and practitioners will discuss new challenges after the pandemic and during the current
crisis (or time of opportunity!), Issues of increasing productivity and automation of metalworking
production, and demonstrate modern technical and software solutions.
Based on practical experience, experts on stage and connected online will share their
experience in reducing production costs through the introduction of new software products and
ideas, developments, high-quality equipment and tools. In addition, as part of the business
program, several strategic sessions will be held, including a meeting with representatives of
the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Russian manufacturers of
machine tools and tools. Each strategy session will be broadcasted live and will be available to
all registered users. The business program is constantly updated and presented on the official

At the demonstration site "OMF: Technology Day 2020", organized right in the Skolkovo
Technopark, conference visitors will be able to communicate live with the conference participants,
get acquainted with the products, and establish mutually beneficial contacts.
One of the additional events will be an exclusive visit to the completely new engineering
R&D center of Fanuc (Japan) also in Skolkovo. Conference guests will be among the first visitors
to Fanuc and will be able to see firsthand all the benefits of automation and not only.
The Technology Day 2020 conference will end with a private dinner in the company of
top managers of the industry's leading companies at the Matryoshka premium restaurant in a
building specially built for the G8 summit (in recent years, Russia has been excluded from the
G8.
