Greetings and Happy Holidays!

I hope this finds you doing well and staying healthy with so many illnesses
going around these days. The holiday season is fast approaching, so please be
safe and careful during these joyous but busy days.

Your MSIADA board members and staff have been busy with several new
projects that will hopefully benefit this association greatly in the future
and help increase our membership to the levels we have had in the past. We
gladly welcome any assistance and/or suggestions that you would be willing
to provide to help us strengthen the Mississippi Independent Auto Dealers
Association. As the old saying goes, “There’s strength in numbers.” Ask your
fellow dealers when you see them if they are members and, if they are not,
then encourage them to join. If every current member could get just ONE
dealer to join, we would double our membership. Just ONE!

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR So, what is your board and staff doing to increase the membership? First, we
have just kicked off a membership drive and are going to the various auctions
on sale days. We are setting up a booth/table to answer questions, provide
solutions, recruit new members and make them aware of MSIADA and the
benefits of becoming a member. Also, we are having a drawing for all members
for a chance to win RTIC coolers and other great prizes. We also hope to have
MSIADA T-shirts, hats, and other swag in the near future.

Second, behind the scenes, we are working feverishly to upgrade our online
pre-licensing class. The current class has served us well and is still in use, but
it was not designed to be a long-term solution. Hats off to Erin for getting it up
and running during COVID. When we get the new class up and running, our
plan is to offer more training topics online so that you may take advantage of
them from the comfort of your office or home. Suggestions for course topics
are welcomed!

We have also partnered with NIADA to create a new and improved coupon
app for the association. While the app itself is still in development, we hope
to have it up and running by February 2023. As more news for the app comes
out, we will be sure to let you know.

In closing, I hope you see that we are dedicated to building a high benefit
valued platform to make MSIADA one of the leaders in the industry. All we
need is a little help spreading the word! Don’t forget to visit us on FACEBOOK
