In addition to being a documentary, the film is

also a drama that presents historical

personalities in depth, with their characteristic

features.

Each episode contains a conflict, a climax, a

node and a resolution, a hero and an anti-hero

to keep the viewer engrossed.

In writing the chapter scripts, we have utilised

historians of the period such as Choniates, Ibn

al-Athir, Matthew of Edessa, Anna Komnene

and William of Tyre. We analysed and

compared modern historians' commentaries on

these records.

Finally, we have written a "Seljuk and Byzantine

history" book in our own style.
