Most Ukrainians don't identify themselves with any political trends or ideologies. More than half of the polled Ukrainians (61%) find it difficult to classify themselves as left-wing, center-left, centrist, right-centrist or the right according to the classification system of political positions, ideologies and parties, according to a study by the Gorshenin Institute. According to a study 8.1% consider themselves as the right, 5.6% - the center-right, 9% - the centrists, 5.6% - the left, 4.2% - the center-left. However, Ukrainians are most positive about the social democratic (41.5%), socialist (35.7%) and national democratic (32.5%) ideologies. The most negative attitude among the respondents was towards the communist (64%), nationalist (54.9%) and conservative (52.3%) political and ideological trends. During the poll, respondents answered that the Social Democratic principles are not inherent in the main political forces of Ukraine, but they are the closest for the Socialist Party of Ukraine (23.5%), as well as the Batkivschyna (21.4%) and the Samopomich (19.1%), the party For Life (Za Zhyttia) (18.5%), The Opposition Bloc (16.9%), the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko (12.7%), the Petro Poroshenko Solidarity Bloc (12.5%) and the People's Front (7.1%). In addition, 49.5% of Ukrainians are one way or another ready to vote for the newly created party of social democratic political trend, 18% would not vote under any circumstances, 32.5% were undecided.
