last decade. The IEA is forecasting a 30 bcm gas deficit in Europe in 2023,
part of which can be provided by LNG, as well as using alternative sources like
coal, nuclear and building more renewable resources. The energy outlook for
2023 will once again remain heavily dependent on the weather.
The EU has no plans to restrict prices for Russian gas any time soon, a
source in Brussels told PRIME on December 16. "The European Commission
has no intent to insist on this decision any time soon, these negotiations are
only testing the ground," the source said. According to the official, the EU also
