Export prospects
Eni has unveiled plans for installing 2mn tpy of LNG production capacity in
the Republic of Congo’s offshore zone.
Agreement reached
The partners in the P’nyang gas project have signed an agreement with the
government of Papua New Guinea over the field’s proposed development.
Tight market
Shell has said it expects the global LNG market to remain tight in 2022, after
a 6% rise in demand last year.
Revival
Novatek has revived plans for the single-train Obskiy LNG plant in Russia’s
far north, with the terminal set to have a capacity of 6.6mn tpy.
