Gazprom Neft to supply
extra lubricants in Saratov
region
Gazprom Ne  has signed a co-operation agreement with authorities in Russia’s Saratov region on the supply of lubricants and service  uids.  e deal was signed at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Saratov businesses use 17,000 tonnes of lubricants per year, one quarter of which are imported. Under the agreement, Gazpromne  Lubricants will expand supplies of modern, high-tech lubricants and service  uids to energy businesses, industrial enterprises, as well as housing and utilities infrastructure facilities.
“ e Saratov Oblast is a major industrial and transport and logistics centre for the Volga Region.  e region’s machine-building, energy, and manufacturing industries are
all in active development,” Gazprom Ne  Chairman Alexander Dyukov commented. “Gazprom Ne , as the technological leader in the re ning industry, is keen to o er a wide range of lubricants, as well as o ering service support and scienti c and technical expertise, to help improve the energy e ciency and competitiveness of businesses in the Saratov
Oblast.”
Gazpromne  Lubricants has six
production facilities in Russia, Italy and Serbia. Its total production stands at 600,000 tonnes of premium oils, lubricants and service  uids per year.

Gazprom Neft to build solar stations at refineries
Russian state oil company Gazprom Ne  plans to build a 1-MW solar plant to power its oil re nery in Omsk – a project that will serve as a pilot for the company’s expanded use of renewable energy.
An agreement on the station’s construction was signed at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Gazprom Ne  and Russia’s leading solar developer Hevel.  e plant is expected to go live by the end of 2019.

market
Gazpromne  Marine Bunker, a bunkering subsidiary of Russian state oil company Gazprom Ne , has signed an agreement with Sovkom ot to co-operate in LNG bunkering sector. Under the deal, the pair will look
to expand their strategic partnership in developing the sector and creating necessary infrastructure to handle deliveries of LNG for marine fuel.
Gazpromne  Marine Bunker is building Russia’s  rst lique ed gas carrier, enable it
to undertake LNG bunkering.  e vessel
will enable deck-to-deck LNG shipments throughout ports in the Baltic Sea. Sovkom ot is Russia’s largest maritime operator using gas-engine fuels, with six LNG-powered oil tankers currently in use the company’s  eet, and orders placed for the construction of a further two.

A blast that occurred at Russia’s Makhachkala port caused by a  re in the engine compartment of an oil tanker has le  three people dead, Russian news outlet RIA Novosti has reported, citing the Federal Agency for Maritime and

to manage its re neries.  e future centre will facilitate the transition from managing individual facilities and complexes to the predictive management of entire processing chains.  e implementation of solutions for developing the new centre and transforming production management processes at Gazprom Ne  will be undertaken in conjunction with Japan’s Yokogawa Electric Corp.
 e pair signed a memorandum on
the project at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The control centre will be piloted
at the Omsk refinery, where it will
take over operational production management, including control over
daily plan fulfilment, product quality, energy consumption, equipment status assessments, and the monitoring of industrial and environmental safety. The new centre will be built around the work
of modern, flat, cross-functional teams, united in a cohesive environment of IT tools and Big Data analytics systems. Thanks to the implementation of “digital models” — precise mathematical models
of all of the re nery’s technological facilities and complexes — the production control centre will be able to ensure predictive and the proactive elimination of any deviations from optimum operation and integrated planning.  e pilot project will be implemented at the
