Surgutneftegas plans new field launches in 2019
Surgutne egas is planning to bring into production the East-Rogozhnikovskoye  eld in Western Siberia and the Lenskoye  eld
in Eastern Siberia this year, according to the company’s annual report.
Production at the Lenskoye is slated to reach 1.5-2.0 million tpy (30,000-40,000 bpd) within three to four years.  e private oil producer expects commission 1,210 new oil wells this year, it said, down from 1,437 wells in 2018.

Druzhba case under house

A district court in Samara has placed
four employees of the Transne -Druzhba company suspected of involveent in the the  and contamination of oil supplies under house arrest, Russia’s PRIME news agency reports.
Criminal proceedings were launched earlier against six people, who stand accused of stealing oil and then pumping chloride- contaminated supplies into Russia’s pipeline system in an attempt to conceal the the .

Gazprom ready for Ukrainian gas talks
Gazprom is ready to hold talks with Na ogaz on the resumption of Russian gas sales to Ukraine, company CEO Alexei Miller said
at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 7.
“We con rm the price level discussed at
previous meetings, the price level at which
we will be ready to supply gas to Ukraine
for our direct deliveries, and we are ready to start negotiations on the preparation of an agreement on Russian gas supplies that would ensure the price level 25% lower for the end user than now,” Miller said.
Ukraine has not bought any Russian gas directly from Gazprom since late 2015, when it halted purchases amid escalating political tensions and a dispute over supply debts.  e country currently meets its gas needs with domestic supply and imports from some of its EU neighbours.

Belarus estimates losses from Druzhba oil disaster
 e Belarusian government has  led a preliminary report with Russia’s energy ministry estimating the losses it sustained as a result of the contamination of oil supplies in the Druzhba pipeline with organic chlorides in April. In a statement on June 11, the company said it had not  nished its full evaluation but added that 760,000 tonnes of spoiled crude remained on its territory.

Production of polypropylene (PP) in Russia was up 19.2% month on month in March
2019 at 133,300 tonnes, according to o cial statistics, although output for the  rst three months of the year combined was down 5.5% year on year, at 346,000 tonnes.
Omsk-Poliom cut production by 3%
to 52,900 tonnes in the  rst quarter, with 19,000 tonnes produced in March. Lukoil- Stavrolen manufactured 23,600 tonnes in the three months, down 21.8%, and only 8,500 tonnes in March. Nizhnekamskne ekhim li ed output by 4.2% in the quarter to 53,600 tonnes, while Tomskne ekhim increased it by 2% to 37,000 tonnes. Ufaorgsintez kept production stable at 33,600 tonnes.

Singaporean firm to
invest US$1.8bn in Kazakh
methanol, olefin plant
A Singaporean  rm called Westgasoil intends to construct a plant for the production of methanol and ole ns at Kazakhstan’s Caspian port of Aktau, at a cost of US$1.8 billion, the head of the regional administration, Yeraly Tugzhanov, has said.
“ e project is aimed at import substitution,” Tugzhanov said during a meeting with Kazakh PM Askar Mamin. “ e plant will process gas into methanol and further components that will help produce more than 40 product names. For about 10 years,Kazakhstanhasbeenimportingall these products from abroad.”
According to Tugzhanov, a memorandum on the project was signed with Westgasoil back in May. Asian, US and European investors are expected to take part in the project, he said.
