The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ exported $990.8mn worth of products in 2018, up 30.3% over 2017 , BelTA reported on January 22. In 2018 the company ramped up production by 45.6% year-on-year. Last year the company hit its record by manufacturing 802 haul trucks with the carrying capacity of 90 tonnes and more. In 2018 the company's export structure changed insignificantly. Russia accounted for 58.4% of the company's exports, while other CIS states for 27.5%. The exports to Russia rose by 26.4%, to other CIS states by 63.9%. Based in Zhodino, Minsk Oblast, the public joint-stock company BelAZ is the world's leading manufacturer of haul trucks with a large carrying capacity and an extremely large carrying capacity. The company also makes other kinds of heavy transport vehicles for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry.
9.2.6  Agriculture corporate news
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will buy a share in the Belarusian agribusiness company Servolux , EBRD representatives told BelTA on December 18. The EBRD will invest €10mn in buying a minority share in SZAO Servolux, a private vertically integrated Belarusian agricultural holding company, which operates in several sectors, including production of poultry meat, meat and dairy products, cattle fodder, and food retail. The money will be channeled into building a new meat processing shop with the output capacity of 70 tonnes of meat per day in Smolevichi, Minsk Oblast. The company will also build a 6.58MW trigeneration plant, which will provide electricity and heat to the meat processing shop. The trigeneration plant will reduce CO2 emissions by 6,200 tonnes per annum. Since the EBRD started working in Belarus in 1992, it has invested over €2bn in projects in various branches of the national economy.
