rose by 33.7%, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Friday at international online training Cyber Polygon.
“In the last few years, the number of attacks on the delivery chains has increased. This disappointing trend continues,” Mishustin said in his online address.
Understanding the risks, creating and introducing cybersecurity strategies wisely are necessary to ensure protection. “We should use the best industry practices, including those of our foreign partners, and find effective solutions together,” he said.
Mishustin also said that access to the Internet on the whole of Russia, including the most far-away areas, will be provided by 2030. One of the government’s key goals is to bridge digital inequality, he said, adding that the Internet does not only mean information, but also new options form the point of view of employment.
“In our country digital transformation will be done to 40% of the economy by the end of 2023. About 650 companies will pass it,” Mishustin said. All the socially important state and municipal services will be digitized during the next two years and a half.
“The cybersecurity matters are coming to the fore. We should protect space apparatuses and onland stations against possible attacks and ensure security of data transfer from space to the Earth and back.”
