POLICY AUSTRALIA’S parliament passed new leg-
islation this week that aims to strengthen the
country’s offshore decommissioning regulatory
framework.

which he sponsored, would bolster the govern-
ment’s oversight and scrutiny of a range of com-
pany transactions to ensure that those looking
