Refining and restructuring in Kuwait
Kuwait has completed the first of two projects to increase refining capacity,
while the top state oil firm is continuing with plans to restructure the sector.

Uganda reiterates refinery FID plan
Uganda National Oil Co. has reiterated its commitment to making an FID on
the construction of a 60,000 bpd refinery next year.
Fires in Iran
Fires broke out at an Iranian refinery and on a major warship, knocking out
the facility’s full 230,000 bpd capacity and sinking the vessel.
