Turkish payment systems firm Papara has mandated Raiffeisen Bank to arrange a minority stake sale, sources t old Reuters, adding that offers worth at least $250mn have been received from foreign fintech companies.
The sources, however, did not reveal the size of the stake for sale.
Papara provides online money transfers, foreign exchange transactions and bill-payment services.
One source reportedly said that a deal could be worth $250-350mn.
Papara was launched in 2016. It says it has about Turkish lira (TRY) 7mn (towards $1mn) in capital. It has four million users and has so far executed TRY100bn in transactions.
This year US-based Zynga bought Turkish mobile game maker Peak for $1.8bn and also acquired 80% of another local game maker Rollic.
