FLNG vessel will have a production capacity
of 2.4mn tonnes per year (tpy) of LNG. It will
be around 380 metres long and 60 metres wide,
with a draft of 35 metres, and will be capable of
storing more than 180,000 cubic metres of LNG
and 45,000 cubic metres of LPG.
According to Wison, Eni intends to install
the vessel in the Nene Marine section of Marine
XII at a site around 50 km off the coast of Pointe
Noire. It will use a submerged swivel Yoke sys-
tem to moor the FLNG unit in 40-metre-deep
water, the Chinese company noted.
The newbuild vessel will be the second FLNG
unit installed at Marine XII. Eni acquired the
first unit – the 600,000 tpy Tango FLNG, built by
Wison and finished in 2017– for the project last
August. Tango FLNG is due to begin produc-

vessel, it will raise Eni’s production capacity at
Marine XII to 3mn tpy.
