“I’m a big sports fan, and I was excited and nervous [for this] shoot. We spoke about his foundation, passion for a healthy lifestyle, and football. My creative director kept pushing me to get him to laugh. I said out loud to Tom, ‘What won’t make him laugh is telling him I’m a New York Giants fan.’ He cracked a smile and said, ‘You love me then.’ I’m a New York sports fan,
so being anti-Boston runs in the blood. I had to check that and embrace that it was a pleasure and privilege to shoot one of the best athletes of all time. When we were leaving, I told Tom that I hope he sticks around for a long time. Football is more fun with him in it. I believe that, even if I’m rooting against him.”
