Senior year is when things changed up for me. I opened a dance account on Instagram,
started coming out of my box and really began to appreciate everything my teachers did for
me.
High school was a really, really, really long journey. It never goes the way you expect it to, but
at the end, it feels like everything worked itself out somehow. High school is stressful, tearful
and dramatic - but it’s also when I learnt the most about myself and I grew to discover what
really matters in life. All we have in this world are the connections we make with people and
I’m so thankful for the ones I’ve made with friends and teachers.

After 14 years of being in this school, time has finally come to close this chapter of our books
and begin a new one. We have all gone through our low points in life, but thankfully I’ve had
incredible people to stand by my side through thick and thin. I want to thank everyone that
has had a hand in impacting the person I am today. My parents have sacrificed so much to
get me to where I am and have supported me regardless of my stance and have loved me
unconditionally. My teachers have embedded me with endless knowledge and wisdom. This
school has become a part of my life and it upsets me to part ways.
