PPE General Rules of Use
▪ Wear PPE as intended:
▪ As specified by manufacturer
▪ In accordance with the training/instruction received
▪ In accordance with employer and manufacturer stated policies and
procedures
▪ Ensure your PPE is properly fitted
▪ Test and inspect your PPE prior to and after use
▪ Keep your PPE clean and in good repair
▪ Do not use damaged or malfunctioning PPE
▪ Do not allow PPE or clothing to contribute to a hazardous
condition/situation.
▪ Wear PPE in situations where you will encounter a splashing hazard
