Face Eye Protection
Wear face/eye protection when:
▪ Performing any work where there is a danger of flying objects or particles
present (e.g., grinding, hammering, depressurizing equipment, wire
brushing, painting, sanding and when using air tools).
Prescription eyewear may be worn:
▪ If it is safety eyewear and complies with CSA Standards. If contact lenses
pose a hazard to workers eyes during work, workers will be advised of the
hazards and the alternatives to wearing contact lenses.
Wear appropriate face/eye protection to protect from
contact with a foreign body/ product/ substance.
