Why are the Evening News and Taxis focusing on the £5.00 pick up charge when there are more blatant and
horrendous pick up charges for chauffeur hire cars? The charge fee is a minimum £5.00 but this can easily rise
to £9.00, £16.00, £25.00. Chauffeur cars even if they wait until a flight has landed get charged from the
moment they take a ticket at the barrier but can then be circling inside the pickup zone trying to find a parking
space before going to greet their passengers...who may well be delayed by inadequate baggage handling
resulting in up to another hour delay which the chauffeur is being charged for. Considering the chauffeur will
make multiple pickups in a shift it means each car will be charged upward of £100.00 per day in parking
charges. Remember this is the same guy that threw himself on the bonnet of a vehicle allegedly picking
up in the drop off zone where the MINIMUM charge is £2.00 but also rises dramatically if there is a delay in
unloading luggage etc. Dewar and the parking charges are putting small operators out of business

12/03/20. So I have just been into Tesco.

Honestly it was shocking they had no toilet paper at all.

Reluctantly I headed for the customer service and asked if they had ANY toilet paper. .

A firm NO and a look in disgust was the answer.

Walking back to the toilets with my knickers and trousers around my ankles is a walk I never want to do
again.
