Not to be outdone, Mattie boy stepped back into the fray suggesting that the healthcare workers who have
contracted the virus, some of whom have tragically lost their lives, may have picked it up in the community.
While that is technically feasible, if we apply Occam’s razor, is it more likely these people contracted the virus
whilst caring for desperately ill patients for 12 hours at a time with inadequate protection against a highly
infectious disease or when they popped into Tesco to try and buy food on their way home from said shift?
And now we have bawbag in chief proclaiming he owes his life to the NHS. Yes, you do. Furthermore, you owe
every person working in the NHS an apology for the way your party has tried to systematically dismantle the
very institution that saved your life and belittle the amazing work they do day in, day out, pandemic or not.
And you owe them a pay rise!
