13/09/20. WE NEED TO TAKE BACK CONTROL
We need to take back control of our agriculture. We need to take back control of our waters and our fishing
stock. We need to be able to control our own borders and decide who crosses them. We need to take back
control of our Laws and our political decisions. We need to be able to form trade agreements with other
nations to suit our own needs.

It is not right that people we do not elect sit in another parliament in another country and make laws affecting
our everyday lives. It is not right that another parliament in another country dictates how and when we spend
much of our own income.

There is no country in the world that should be forced to stay in a union against its will. We want to be able to
decide our own future on our own terms.
You may think those statements are yet more tired old rhetoric from the Nasty Nationalists about why they
want independence for Scotland from the rest of the United Kingdom and in particular Westminster.
They are, in fact, arguments made by Brexiteers to justify why they wanted independence for the United
Kingdom from the European Union and in particular Brussels.

However

With a few minor adjustments such as changing the United Kingdom to Scotland and Brussels to Westminster
they make a perfect case for Scottish independence.

Thanks guys because every word you uttered to make the case for the United Kingdom leaving the European
Union demonstrates exactly why Scotland should leave the United Kingdom.
