CLOSING
Your attorney will facilitate the closing of your home sale. On the day of closing, your attorney will take the funds they have collected from the buyer and their mortgage company to pay off any liens including a mortgage (if applicable) and make sure the buyer is being given a clean title. Your proceeds from the sale can either be wired to an account or they can give you a check. Wire fraud is on the rise and we always like to protect our clients from any potential scams, which is why we strongly recommend to get a check issued from your attorney.
