I choose to focus on prosperity and health and all the other good things
the gospel freely gives us. As we lawyers say, “The defense rests its
case.”
Jesus says, “He who has ears let him hear, let him hear.” We all have
ears but we don’t all hear the same way.
To Jesus, we just don’t hear with the attachments to the sides of our
heads that we call ‘ears.’ We hear with our hearts, and the way we hear
is by means of trust and belief.
Three times in the book of Hebrews it repeats the same thing in talking
about hearing from God:
"Today, if you WILL hear his voice."
Hearing from God isn't just something that happens by coincidence. We
will talk about choices next. Needless to say, choices are something
that require a choice – and then we must mix it with patience.
