God?
I was told to be a dart,
And aim myself real straight. But I couldn’t find your target, So you had to sit and wait.
You recognized my trouble
And sang a song real loud.
But now I couldn’t see your light, Because of all the clouds.
Today I started falling fast
From shooting the wrong way.
You grabbed me oh so lightly,
And whispered you were here to stay.

Heavenly Hints
As I sat in the presence of Thee, From a tree fell down a golden leaf.
I gave to you my frustrations today And sat outside, waiting for your say. You gave a sign that I can on rely Giving me relief despite my cries. Within me, the courage You provide. Towards you, Christ, I gravitate, Towards you, Christ, I strive.

The Internal Struggle
I couldn’t get the A.
No one will ever say
I was bound for greatness.
It is evident of course that
I fall short of expectation.
I would never let people think That I’m not cool.
I don’t care if people want to say, I don’t try.
They are wrong when they say
I have potential.
The critics will ask if
I can make it through.
