Transition Time
White turns to green at the hands of the sun. Flowers sprout and bring color to earth.
Kids run outside and it’s time to have fun. We stop sled riding and start to surf.
We sit by the pool and all like to lie out. Jumping in the water when it’s too hot.
It makes us realize what life’s all about.
Why be at home when you can be in a yacht?
It gets way too hot and it starts to feel sticky. You get sunburned and it hurts like no other. You are constantly sweating and feel oh so icky. Day by day you can’t stand to have another.
Longing for the cold to save you from misery.
Green turns to white at the hands of Mother Nature. Snow flies down like cold, wet artillery.
No season is perfect you can thank our creator.

Downpour, Emily Dontenville `17 Through the Years
Think back to your childhood
It was all so easy
Having your family protect you Having friends who liked you for you It was all so simple
Now you’re a teenager
People say heartless things
They don’t care how you’re feeling They only care about themselves
Years pass and you’re now graduating
You look at the people you grew to know Those who hurt you, those who cared Because of all these people, good and bad You’re now ready to face the world
