Winter
The cold breeze of the chilly December air
Blows throughout my golden blonde hair
The air chills my feet and my hands
I’m forced to bundle up due to winter’s commands
Sledding and skiing are always so fun
Outside until my toes have gone numb Watching basketball and going on ice to skate I’m excited for winter, I can barely wait
Dressing warm and layering up
Continuously pouring hot chocolate in my cup The once green grass is layered with snow Forbidding the spring flowers to grow
Thick white snow lays on the branches of a dead tree It’s the most beautiful sight in the world to see

The Cold
The cold takes your breath away,
With every breath inhaled.
It creeps inside your gloves and coat
Numbing through and through.
Freezing ice, white snow, hail, black ice, and rain. Oh, what fun the cold can be.
Wrap yourself up; don’t let it in,
For it can grab you,
And freeze you like an icicle
Hanging from the side of your house.
