I Do!
A bouquet of roses in her hand,
Her father’s arm intertwined in her own.
The veil hid her smiling face
Looking down at the dress her mother had sewn.
As she glanced up at the altar,
She saw her handsome groom
And suddenly, within a moment,
They were the only two people in the room.
His soft brown eyes watched her As she walked down the aisle. And as she stood beside him,
All he could do was smile.
The bride took his hand
As her face slowly turned red
And then she looked at the priest, Her nervousness starting to spread.
Time during the ceremony Seemed to pass slowly
As her one true love
Held her ever so closely.
After she spoke her vows
And he did too,
The last thing to say
Was a quiet and breathless “I do”.

The Heart’s Race
The emotion that has been projected throughout this week, is beyond me why women so much seek.
For it is I with a heart,
that has chased her love and beauty from the start.
I clean up nice and and put on my tie,
She has stolen my heart and on the ground I lie.
My heart is forever gone with her,
and now she walks through the door and it’s all just a blur. But now as I suffer from dèjãvu,
I’m cast in a trance to only see us two.
Her dress is beautiful and white,
and my soul is touched by just her sight.
Her beauty brings back the sound,
of my racing heart she has found.
I give her a hug and the aroma of her hair, makes me let go and spaciously stare.
She smiles and tells me she loves me,
My heart does not bellow and resumes to be.
I have been blessed with her,
my heart does not race with her cure. For she is the one for me,
and makes me the man that I seek to be.
For her I shall always love,
In my arms she has fallen from above.
