“Are you okay?’’ “Yes, I’m just tired.” I always reply.
I always seem to be okay,
Even when I think I’m dying. Even when I only wear hoodies. Even when I’m “not hungry”
“Are you sure? You’ve been quiet recently” “Yes I’m sure”
I always lie.
I’m always sure,
Even when I’m not.
Even when I go to bed crying.
Even when I used to be so confident in myself. But now I’m as quiet as a mouse.
I’ll always be okay,
Even when that’s the biggest lie I could tell
Are You Okay?
