Some days are blue
But happiness always renews Some days are yellow
And bring us the morning dew
Some trees are brown Before they are cut down Some trees are green And are growing abound
Some flames are red
And are used widespread Some flames are orange But leave many places dead
Some flowers are pink And always grow in sync Some flowers are purple But never grow with stink
Some people are white
And are shone on with light Some people are black But are never allowed to be bright
Colors make this world as a whole But they don’t truly define our souls People truly love to hate our colors Causing people to feel out of control
Racism isn’t just a whip crack But it is instead the full attack Which presents the question Why all white or all black?
