Fall Open House Welcomes Families
More than 390 families visited Padua during our fall 2016 Open Houses. Faculty, sta , and current students provided guided tours of the building with opportunities to meet Principal David Stec ’86, see classrooms, and learn more about what Padua has to o er including academics, spirituality, ne arts, MedTrack®, and athletics. Information on tuition assistance, scholarships, transportation, guidance, placement testing, and shadowing registration was available at the end of the tour, where families were also invited to enjoy lunch and meet athletic coaches. All grade school students received a Padua drawstring bag and were entered to win tuition scholarships of $500 - $1,000.
Padua Celebrates Placement Test Scholarship Winners at Breakfast of Champions
is year more than 500 eighth grade students representing 69 di erent Catholic and non-Catholic grade schools took the high school placement test at Padua. Students scoring in the highest percentile on the test
were awarded renewable scholarships ranging from $2,000 -$5,000 per year for their excellent achievement. On January 7, Padua welcomed our Placement Test Scholarship winners and their families to celebrate their extraordinary accomplishment during our rst annual Breakfast of Champions. Families were treated to egg strata, breakfast potatoes, fruit, donuts, bagels, and a yogurt parfait bar. Everyone also received a small box of Wheaties— the Breakfast of Champions!
